I’ve been through some very challenging experiences in life.

My quest for peace regardless of what life threw at me, lead me to where I am now…….I’d like to share that knowledge with you.

I wanted to share my story of why I practice yoga, meditation and self hypnosis. Also why it lead me to become a yoga teacher and hypnotherapist.

When I gave birth to my beautiful daughter, although it was wonderful to welcome her into the world, I also had a very traumatic experience. I was given a mislabeled medicine that caused me to stop breathing and gave me a temporary paralysis where I couldn't draw another breath. I saw the birth of my daughter, then because I didn't know that a medicine had been injected into me (let alone a mislabeled incorrect one), I thought that I was dying, then passed out. In those few moments after seeing my daughter for the first time, I believed that I would never see her grow up. 

This was all rectified as soon as the hospital staff realised what had happened, however this had a massive impact on me for a long time afterwards. I felt scared, anxious, unprotected and developed panic attacks that were ongoing for over 3 years. As I am a sensitive person who doesn't react well to regular medication, I couldn't take the anti anxiety pills I was prescribed, as I needed to be fully alert and there for my daughter. 

So without finding anything else to help me, I turned to yoga and meditation. I also regularly saw a hypnotherapist, who taught me ways to think differently than I currently had been and techniques to aid my healing. By praticing these techniques and by bringing breath to my body through practising the yoga and meditation, it was enough to heal me. These were the regular practices that I could do to naturally reduce the symptoms of my anxiety disorder. 

After years of practice and feeling much better, I decided that I would like to share with others the wonderful practice of yoga and meditation, along with the techniques I learnt through hypnotherapy and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). I aimed to help them along their journey to self healing, in whichever form it took, hoping that I could share my experience with others. I am so grateful that I learnt these healing practices to help through such difficult times and I am also grateful that I can now teach what I love doing.
